Executive Committee
The Executive Committee is responsible for the implementation of the company's policy and strategy laid down by the Board of Directors. Consequently, it is given the most extensive powers regarding the day-to-day management. In order to enable the Board of Directors to exercise its control, the Executive Committee regularly reports about its activities and about the development of the subsidiaries and associated companies.

Jo Cornu
(°1944, Belgian) graduated as an engineer specializing in electrotechnology and mechanics from the Catholic University of Leuven (Belgium) and later obtained a PhD in electronics from the Carlton University in Ottawa (Canada). Jo Cornu was CEO of Mietec from 1982 to 1984 and later General Manager for Bell Telephone until 1987. From 1988 to 1995 he was member of the Executive Committee of Alcatel NV and from 1995 to 1999 he was COO for Alcatel Telecom. Later he became a counselor for the Board of Directors of Alcatel. Jo Cornu has been Chairman of the ISTAG Group (Information Society Technologies Advisory Group) of the European Commission from 2005 until 2007. Jo Cornu became a member of the Board of Directors in 2002. Since Dec. 1, 2007, he has been appointed President and CEO of Agfa-Gevaert.
Albert Follens
(°1947, Belgian) studied electromechanical engineering at the Ghent University, Belgium and business administration at the University of Antwerp. He started his career with Philips in 1969 and joined Agfa in 1970. He had several positions in technological research of process automation and coating, headed the Instrumentation Department and later Logistics. In 1997, he was appointed Director of Production & Engineering and in 1999 he became responsible for Agfa's worldwide Photochemical Production & Engineering. In September 2001, he was appointed to the Executive Committee of Agfa-Gevaert. In December 2007, he was appointed Vice-President of Agfa-Gevaert.
Kris Hoornaert
Kris Hoornaert (°1964 - Belgian) graduated as a commercial engineer from the Catholic University of Leuven and later obtained an MBA degree from the University of Louvain-La-Neuve. He held various managerial positions at SES Europe (now Advanta) before joining Inbev in 2000. At Inbev, Kris Hoornaert was Corporate Controller and subsequently Director Mergers and Acquisitions. In 2003, he was appointed VP Finance/IT Central Europe and in 2004 VP Finance Central & Eastern Europe. Most recently, he was VP Finance Western Europe. He joined Agfa-Gevaert as Group Controller in April 2008. In June 2008, the Agfa-Gevaert Board of Directors appointed Kris Hoornaert as Chief Financial Officer.
Luc Delagaye
Luc Delagaye (°1960 - Belgian) holds an MSc degree from the University of Ghent (Belgium). He has worked 12 years at Bekaert in several functions, of which more than 7 years in Chile as Manager Operations of Bekaert's joint venture. He joined the Copper unit of Union Minière - now Umicore - at the end of 1996. Since 2004, he has been business unit manager of Umicore's Copper division and Managing Director of Umicore Copper. With the de-merger from Umicore and its introduction on Euronext Brussels, Luc Delagaye has been Chief Executive Officer and Director of Cumerio from April 28, 2005 till April 24, 2008. He was appointed President of the Agfa Materials business group and became a member of the Executive Committee in May 2008.
Christian Reinaudo
(°1954, French) is a graduate from the 'Ecole de Physique et de Chimie Industrielles de Paris' and holds a doctorate from the University of Paris (France). He started his career with Alcatel in 1978. During this period, he has managed worldwide multi-billion Euro businesses and international sales and services organizations. Most recently he was Area President Europe and North for Alcatel - Lucent and responsible for managing the integration and transition process associated with the merger with Lucent Technologies. Christian Reinaudo was appointed President of the Agfa HealthCare business group and as a member of the Executive Committee on January 1, 2008.
Stefaan Vanhooren
(°1964, Belgian) studied applied economics and obtained an MBA from the UFSIA University of Antwerp. He began his career in 1989 with Agfa's Medical Systems Division in Mortsel. After implementing specific mergers & acquisitions programs for the Group in the United States, he returned in 1991 to the head office to join the Non-Destructive Testing Division (NDT) where he held various senior management positions in finance and marketing. In 1999, he became General Manager Sales & Marketing for NDT. In 2002, he was appointed Managing Director for the Asia Pacific Region, based in Hong Kong. He became President of Agfa Graphics in 2004. In February 2005, he was appointed to the Executive Committee.
